PESHAWAR: People Party Sherpao has announced on Tuesday that it will support the ruling coalitions’ impeachment motion against President Pervez Musharraf.
Talking to media outside NWFP Assembly, PPP-Sherpao Parliamentary leader Sikandar Sherpao said that his party believed in democracy.
“PML-N’s Ch Nisar Ali Khan and PPP’s Khurshid Shah requested us to support the ruling coalition regarding impeachment, he said, adding PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari had phoned Party Chief Aftab Ahmed Sherpao for the support.”
He further said central executive committee held a meeting. The committee decided to support the democratic forces in the country so that problems faced by the people could be resolved after these issues.
